Quaternionic Switches Page

A copy of the source code, together with a Makefile for the programme qsearch is available here.

When run from a command line, the programme presents a menu of options for searching for quaternionic solutions to the Yang-Baxter equations:

• solutions where all matrix entries have integral components
• solutions where two matrix entries have integral components
• solutions where all matrix entries are in the Hurwitz ring

These solutions may be used by the braid programme to calculate quaternionic invariants of virtiual knots and links, as described in [1].
